Dr. Stephen Franklin is unquestionably the WORST MEDICAL PRACTIONER in any space service. Seriously, all but one or two of his patients died. Even with the real useful alien life-force transfer machine available (because he stole it from Will Robinson’s mother) he NEVER used it to save anyone! Not even his girlfriend! Bad form, mate. It was Marcus that used it himself. And since Marcus clearly didn’t have any confidence in Dr. Franklin either, he didn’t even bother to ask him how it worked and ended up dead too as a result. Plus, Franklin had a serious substance abuse problem for most of an entire season. How many patients were lost when he was spacin’ on stims? The great plaque that quarantined Earth, did he ever find a cure? Noooo. His grand reseacrh project to learn about all the species in the galaxy? Never heard much about that, excpet that he made the Pacmora barf. These were the beings that could “eat anything – except the fish in the sea”. He should be the posterchild of bad space medicine. Completely unworthy to be listed with the likes of McCoy or The Doctor (any of them). Shame shame shame.
