The War of the Worlds (1953)
It was the first movie based on the book by H. G. Wells. It won an Oscar for special effects.
Dr. Clayton Forrester (Gene Barry) is a physicist and he investigates the cause of the Martian anemia discovered by the pathologist Dr. Dupre.
